Mullayanagiri (Kannada: ಮುಳ್ಳಯ್ಯನಗಿರಿ) (also spelt Mullayangiri or Mullainagiri) is the highest peak in Karnataka, India. Mullayanagiri is located at 13°23′26″N 75°43′18″E in the Chandra Dhrona Hill Ranges of the Western Ghats of Chikmagalur Taluk. With a height of 1,930 metres (6,330 ft), it is the highest peak between the Himalayas and the Nilgiris. Mullayanagiri is one of the best trekking places in Karnataka and South India. My Experience: If you love to drive on hills, this is trip will increase your heartbeat. Wonderful place in Karnataka, try to reach early morning so you can enjoy on he way to peak point too. Full of fog, visibility is very less (be careful), sharp turning on Mullaynagiri hill, and if you are lucky /bad luck too and no fog then you can see Arabian Sea from top. Don't forget to carry worm cloths and cap. It's too windy.
